Siphon Drainage Vent Cap

Function of the Vent Cap:The vent cap is installed at the top of the PVC drainage pipe. Its main function is to ensure air circulation inside the drainage pipe. When water flows through the pipe, the vent cap allows air to enter the pipe, thereby preventing the formation of a vacuum inside the pipe.
Drainage Efficiency:With a vent cap, water flows more smoothly through the pipe and will not slow down or become blocked due to a vacuum inside the pipe.
Vacuum Effect:If a vent cap is not installed on the PVC drainage pipe, a vacuum may form in the upper part of the pipe when water flows down rapidly. This vacuum effect exerts extra pressure on the pipe, which may cause deformation or damage to the pipe over time.
